surTHRIVER Angels – bringing together resources to help those in need

I receive countless emails on a daily basis from men and women who are literally fighting for their lives, hopeless and lost. My heart goes out to them and I wish I could help them all. It was an email just like the one below that lead me to create this sponsorship program in an effort to bring hope to as many as I’m able.

~Tracy Malone, Narcissist Abuse Support Founder

“I am 34 years old and I met my husband two years ago. It was a whirlwind romance and everything was beyond perfect. I gave up my career so we could move across the country for his new job. Because of Covid, I am struggling with no family, no friends, and no hope of a job in the near future. As soon as we moved, he changed. His anger and rages were unlike anything I had ever seen. He blames me for his outbursts – he says it’s my fault for not getting a job and stressing us financially. I have no one to turn to; can you help me find the courage to leave? I feel so betrayed. I gave up everything for him, left everyone and everything I know, and now I get attacked every day! I’m at the end of my rope. Please help me! – Survivor“

In 2020, survivors of narcissistic abuse have endured being quarantined with their abusers. Divorces, custody issues, and orders for support were put on hold due to closures caused by the pandemic. Priorities for self-care gave way to the necessity to feed their families and keep the electricity on. Increased stress and diminished ability to find the funds to get help leave them suffering from escalating pressures at home.

Offering help to these people is more vital than ever before. My hope is to find survivors who have the capability to offer financial support to those in need.  Time is of the essence.

Are you one of these people struggling? Get started below.

Are you financially secure enough to lend a helping hand? Let us combine your donation with the gifts of others to help these survivors get their lives back. If you are able to join our campaign, we thank you!

WHAT IS A SurTHRIVER?

You have been through hell and back. You are a proud warrior who has fought to find yourself and heal from the fallout of living in a toxic, abusive situation. You live in the present by honoring yourself, promoting healthy boundaries and self-care. Your skills have not only been honed to spot dangerous people, but you have had and passed additional tests. You now recognize and have the courage to walk away, never willing to tolerate bad behavior again, no matter how good they appear on the surface. It is the ultimate self-trust knowing that you will identify and stand up to abusive people. Finding gratitude in everything brings calm, a oneness with the universe that empowers you daily. Your heart resolves not to hide behind the trauma story, enabling you to proudly stand up in support of others who are just beginning their journey. Fearlessness replaces fear. The comprehension that you had the power all along to deactivate that fear is inspiring. You have gone from hopeless to hopeful to having faith in yourself – you see the world of possibilities waiting for you ahead. The selfless gift of giving back to others makes you a surTHRIVER.

Are you in a position to give a little to help another survivor?

My goal is to raise enough funds to create sponsorships for eight ladies to join a six-week coaching and emotional resilience program called “surTHRIVER.” If additional funds are donated, grants will be offered for coaching to both men and women. Together we can make a difference to those who really need help.

Any donation is appreciated! With a $20 (or more) gift, we will send you a surTHRIVER bracelet to remind you that you, too, are a surTHRIVER. If you DO NOT WANT the bracelet shipped to you, please write that in the comments box on the next page.

Give Help

We hear your cries and know your pain.

This campaign is to find people who can not financially get the help they need to understand or heal. By asking surTHRIVERS who can afford it to chip in, we can place eight women in a six-week program scholarship to find community and get on the road to recovery.

We have never asked for financial support before, so we are unsure how much we will be able to offer. However, getting on the list is the first step. Any extra money will go into a drawing for individual coaching. We will also be offering 20 extra scholarship opportunities for free courses to help you heal.
