Hi there. This is tracy and tonight. I’m going to talk about something [that] I

0:00:07.149,0:00:10.348
hear about a lot these days and I

0:00:12.580,0:00:15.809
can relate [to] what I’m hearing and I can relate to

0:00:17.890,0:00:19.660
the fact that

0:00:19.660,0:00:24.389
You just don’t know if it will go away. It’s a feeling after you

0:00:24.939,0:00:31.919
for example break up with a narcissus, and you know some people are not dating or marrying a narcissist, but

0:00:32.950,0:00:36.299
for those people that are having a breakup it’s

0:00:38.559,0:00:42.839
Such it’s such a much worse breakup than the normal person

0:00:43.390,0:00:47.189
you have those moments when you walk into your house and

0:00:49.539,0:00:50.680
everything

0:00:50.680,0:00:51.879
every

0:00:51.879,0:00:58.198
Pepper mill every plant every single thing your bed your towel your toothbrush

0:00:58.870,0:01:01.949
Everything that you have remind you of [that] person?

0:01:02.800,0:01:04.299
because

0:01:04.299,0:01:06.299
They slept there

0:01:06.369,0:01:11.909
We ate at this table every morning every morning. He would bring me coffee in this chair

0:01:12.640,0:01:16.229
We had sex on that couch. We whatever right

0:01:16.270,0:01:21.839
It’s it’s it’s it’s a whole thing remember when we got those towels. Oh, how about that

0:01:22.420,0:01:24.449
Frickin Christmas ornaments that

0:01:25.240,0:01:27.570
Is always a really hard thing?

0:01:28.689,0:01:32.519
you know those just tend to have a lot of emotion and

0:01:35.320,0:01:38.729
It’s really hard when you’re just going through a normal breakup

0:01:40.000,0:01:47.399
but when you add on top of that the fact that somebody that you loved and trusted and

0:01:48.939,0:01:54.629
somebody that you believed was real you’ve been with this person for however long you’re

0:01:55.149,0:01:59.069
You know one year two years 1 month. It doesn’t matter

0:02:01.390,0:02:03.390
for as long

0:02:04.750,0:02:06.750
Everything has a memory

0:02:07.360,0:02:10.740
Everything you touch everything your eye sees places that you go

0:02:11.620,0:02:17.460
places that you used to love right you went there because you loved it and and those bring back memories, so

0:02:18.370,0:02:23.190
It’s different with that mark. We have to deal with the brain fuck and

0:02:24.400,0:02:26.490
the what the heck [happened] here and

0:02:27.010,0:02:29.909
Then we’ve got the regular memories looking at everything

0:02:30.460,0:02:34.649
And then we probably got them torturing us in some way I

0:02:38.050,0:02:40.050
Don’t have an answer I

0:02:41.710,0:02:45.359
know that it will go away when

0:02:47.500,0:02:49.770
my husband left I

0:02:51.100,0:02:53.080
Didn’t even want to see the towels

0:02:53.080,0:02:58.800
And while I had some friends who got divorced at about the same time they got all new towels

0:02:58.800,0:03:03.570
I got a whole new bedroom set throughout a brand new one that they had before [and] just got new ones

0:03:03.570,0:03:07.200
I know people that have changed the floor and the carpets

0:03:07.780,0:03:14.399
What I am encouraging you to do which really helped for me was to move all the furniture

0:03:15.160,0:03:17.399
If you can move your bed to the other side of the room

0:03:18.070,0:03:20.699
that would help if you

0:03:21.340,0:03:23.200
Can move any of the furniture?

0:03:23.200,0:03:30.269
Because it’s it’s like which our brain [is] trained you walk in you look at that couch you go. Oh my God that

0:03:30.820,0:03:32.650
Brings back a memory

0:03:32.650,0:03:38.850
You know it could be a spoon that you bought on vacation because you needed something disturbed pasta

0:03:38.850,0:03:40.850
And it’s the best one that you’ve ever had

0:03:41.800,0:03:43.800
You don’t want to get rid of it

0:03:44.019,0:03:45.190
because

0:03:45.190,0:03:48.209
Well if you can if you can buy new ones by, I’m just saying

0:03:49.690,0:03:52.589
it’s really hard to get rid of things and

0:03:53.650,0:03:56.280
The only way to do it is to really

0:03:57.100,0:04:00.239
Give it time. It’s going to be okay, and

0:04:02.860,0:04:04.540
Those memories will fade

0:04:04.540,0:04:11.569
Because you’ll be filled with all kinds of new other crap, and that’s okay. You want to build your life. You want life to happen

0:04:12.269,0:04:16.608
Don’t be afraid of life and don’t be afraid of things in your house

0:04:17.880,0:04:19.939
Moved up. I love that idea
