Did you have a child when you married a narcissist? Of course, they were so sweet and charming to you and your kids when you first met. Narcissists, as we know, need a ton of attention and so often when a stepdaughter or stepson enters the world in a more permanent way the narcissist can get jealous. He wants your time, she wants you to wait on her hand and foot and if you have a child that takes away the attention from them, it will be very unhealthy for your child and ultimately your relationship. A narcissistic step parent will always be in competition, they will try to control them as they try with you. Be careful and understand what they are doing, you must protect your child
