Bree Bonchay MSW, LCSW

Bree Bonchay. LCSW specializes in narcissistic abuse recovery, interpersonal trauma, upsetting events, and relationship issues. Bree is the founder of World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day and The Annual Survivor Empowerment Summits, the author of the book, “I Am Free: Healing Stories of Surviving Toxic Relationships with Narcissists and Sociopaths”, and has appeared on radio and podcasts as a guest expert and speaker. She has over 20 years of experience helping people heal from: depression, anxiety, relational trauma, emotional and physical abuse, divorce, grief, post-traumatic stress disorder, and self-esteem matters.

Bree uses an integrative combination of brain and body-based methods (CBT, DBT, Trauma-informed approach, Mindfulness Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy) that research has shown to be effective. I focus on helping individuals build a repertoire of strategies to manage their distressful symptoms, identify learned patterns, unhelpful ways of thinking, and access their strengths and use them as leverage to work through their upsetting events, fears, unknown roadblocks, ultimately gaining deeper insight and awareness, so they can get ‘unstuck’, and lead happier and more fulfilling lives and build deeper, more intimate relationships.
