I’ve worked with more than one-thousand individuals and families both in-office and virtually (on-line) and co-facilitate a group for those who are dealing with separation, divorce, betrayal trauma, alienation/estrangement, emotional abuse, loss, and other relationship issues. Although trained to assess and treat most mental/behavioral health disorders, my primary focus is on the whole person, not the diagnosis. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed, resiliency focus, redefining presenting problems on the basis of needs and doing everything possible to address those needs. Also, having taught assessment and intervention skills to graduate students for many years, I can share evidence-based research and knowledge with those who would like to add this to their therapeutic or coaching experience.
