Melody Brave LCSW

Everything feels hard…too much. You’re exhausted, anxious, and emotionally running on empty though you expect yourself to have it all together. As a responsible, empathic, and considerate person, you put major effort into all your roles–work, relationships, etc. But you re-hash conversations and second guess yourself, afraid to make a mistake. Did you get it right and meet the expectations? What if you get it wrong and push someone away? What is “getting it right” anyway? You don’t want to disappoint anyone, but the traditions and tools you learned no longer work for you or feel like they’re holding you back.

You want to have your own identity and to be seen and accepted as you are. It’s hard to express that you need help, support, or patience from those around you. You’d like to feel confident, capable of handling the stress peacefully, and know in-the-moment that everything is okay. Becoming the person you want to be can be difficult and may be unsafe.

I can help you calm your fears, find a starting point, and tackle those difficult conversations you need to have in order to set boundaries in your life to protect yourself from further harm. Using a successful model I have developed, you can find clarity quickly and move into authentic self-expression immediately or as soon as any safety issues are addressed.
