Otylia McQuay LCSW-R

Do you find yourself feeling dissatisfied and unhappy in your relationships? Do you have a hard time managing your emotions? I might be the right match for you. I work people from all walks of life, and experiencing different forms of emotional pain. The focus of my practice is on helping people who suffered various adverse and traumatic events, and now feel out of control in many aspects of their life – experiencing feelings of inadequacy, issues in intimate relationships, and chronic anxiety and depression.

I am a Certified Trauma Treatment Professional who specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I was one of the first graduates of the prestigious Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy Training Program at Columbia University. I frequently work with people who have a long history of trauma, including narcissistic abuse.

Bessel van der Kolk said “Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health”. As such, my goal is to offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment using a style that’s eclectic and tailored to your needs. I encourage you to take the first step towards healing, and contact me.
