I have over 15 years of clinical experience treating children, adolescents and adults. I specialize in treating self-injury, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, women’s issues and parenting concerns. I am a Certified Cognitive Therapist (CBT) with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy ~ the only official certifying agency for cognitive therapists in the US. I am trained in the SAFE Alternatives Program for self-injury. My work with adolescents addresses identity development, prioritizing interests and goals, building self-esteem, making better choices, developing healthy coping skills and regulating emotions.
I offer support and hope for women as they travel through life’s many transitions. Issues addressed include adjusting to college life, pregnancy, motherhood, body image, relationship changes, anxiety, panic attacks, and healing from past trauma and abuse. I also work with daughters of narcissistic mothers.
Through the development of a safe and nurturing relationship, together we can end self-destructive patterns, strengthen relationships and build confidence.
